Sally Ruthen has worked in the field of civil disputes since 1990. She was Partner and Head of Civil Litigation at a local High Street firm of Solicitors for 7 years, before leaving in 2005 in order to diversify her interests and develop her work as a Civil Mediator. Sally has considerable experience of legally aided/publicly funded litigation, and was responsible for her previous firm’s contract with the Legal Services Commission. Although she is able to mediate in cases involving complex issues at multi-track level, Sally’s services are particularly suited to ‘Fast Track’ and small claims, as she is in a position to tailor the fees she charges so that they are proportionate to the amount in issue. She works as a Mediator on an individual, freelance basis. Sally is an Independent Conciliator for both NHS Suffolk and NHS Norfolk, dealing with health complaints. She completed a degree in Psychology in 2007 with first class honours. Sally also works for Crime Concern as a Mediation Officer dealing with neighbour disputes. |
