| Details | The particular expertise of Robin Blackmore is with mediations, resolution of conflict and the handling of difficult conversations and meetings in charities and the role of trustees/directors within them. He also has considerable experience of these fields of work within both state and independent schools in relation to the roles of and relationships between governors and senior management teams. For the last five years Robin has been a trustee and chair of the trustees of a large independent school. Robin is a professional free lance facilitator, coach, trainer and independent chair, working within both the public sector and charitable organisations which include the Royal College of Psychiatrists, the Health and Safety Executive, the employees of the House of Commons and the Welsh Assembly and one of the three UK secure special hospitals. His field of expertise within these roles is to initiate, lead and manage effective professional conversations and meetings and enable others to do the same. During his first full-time career in the Essex Police he worked in all operational spheres and at all levels from constable to chief officer. Within these command roles Robin's particular expertise was, within police operations designed to secure the safety and security of VIP's and individuals at risk, to enable parties with different interests work better together. |
